We have an area where you can find ancestral recipes and techniques of traditional cooks with customs, stews, sauces and seasonings. A space where you can travel through the different states of the country, a tribute to their kitchens and their cooks.

Rita Sánchez successful Mexican chef responsible for the Gastronomic Pavilion. Specialized in ancestral Mexican recipes, she has opened more than two restaurants in Europe and is currently dedicated to giving advice, recipes, conferences and collaborations with international institutions.

In 2013, he undertook the project of traveling through Mexico to collect ancestral recipes and techniques. To this day, she have traveled through most of the Magical Towns of Mexico and has managed to coexist with traditional cooks in the homes of the communities, managing to compile the recipes that have been lost by their descendants who no longer cooked.

For she, cooking is an act of love. It serves to embrace, caress the soul and awaken sensations that are there... you just have to keep quiet and know how to listen to them, smell them, feel them, look at them and taste them. In short, the food is a warm “apapacho” (a Mexican synonym for “hug”) full of love, magic, history, procedures, and tradition.

Come, let us test with every sense what this wonderful country called México!

Through the exhibition of Pueblos Magicos you will be able to discover, with all your senses, the secrets that our Mexican gastronomy, a World Heritage Site (UNESCO, 2010), has to offer to the whole world.
